Nice Comparison. I like to see this because all categories involved in this. I believe that Hero Honda is no.1 thats why people try to buy herohonda bikes.
Really cool comparison by you. Thanks for sharing nice information.
though gladiator ss shines in most areas, its the shine which is smiling …as you will find end number of shine on the streets then gladiator ss/rs.
stunner is best among all
Great comparison, can you also add the OTR prices and mileage for each……
Also, I would like to know apart from style what can make me buy Stunner among others….
Thanks in advance….
Hi Anurag,
Since many people are asking for price and mileage we will add that information soon. We feel Stunner is good vehicle not only for its style but also for the fact being Honda product and better performer. On the downside, It gives less mileage than the others. If you are open for Bajaj products please check out new XCD 135 also before deciding.
Honda Shine Good Bike interms of its pick up, mileage. But only the problem is the bike vibrates when speed reaches 50 kms/hr. If Honda resolves this problem it can beat all bikes in 125cc segment.
Vibration is very High and easily observable any one.
I don’t think it’s good for long drive.
Thanks
Ravi
Great compilation
only missing is mileage..????
and that too not what company claims …
hi,
gladiator 125ss is best . its easily reaches 100kms/hr. and its good for longdrive.
Hiiiiiiii all m sushant…..this comparision is gud but mileage & price is missing if u will add this information it will be better….anyhow it’s hard to choose one from all of them. I think gladiator, flame, shine are gud bikes….but the problem is how to choose one in these……Plz help me out….
Regards
Sushant
The new Hero Honda Glamour is superb. Its very stylish and comfortable too..
Hai
Yamaha Gladi is good.. It is best for pickup and millage.. This is the only bike with 5 gears in 125cc segment
I own Gladiator Type SS. THe bike gives a mileage of 48-50 Kmpl for rough riding with top speeds of 80kmph. In a careful ride with below 60kmph it might give 56kmpl. The bike is superb in top speed performance. I always ride it at 80+kmph. maximum I achieved is between 95-100kmph with single rider. even being pushed to the limits bike doesn’t complain much. Only negative thing about this bike is that torque at low speeds is poor. This make riding in heavy traffic, with pillion rider, horrible.
mmmmmmmmmmm, pls allow the miledege to diplay thank yo
Hi friends.I have purcheased a hero honda glamour last 6 months.it had a good milage 55-60kml and good pickup its top speed is 106kmh.it reaches 95kmh very fast. And its road grip is very good.i am happy with it.
I think Honda CBF Stunner, Yamaha Gladiator SS & Bajaj XCD 135 are the best
Great comparison, can you also add the OTR prices and mileage for each……
Also, I would like to know apart from style what can make me buy Stunner among others….
Thanks in advance….
Honda Shine Good Bike interms of its pick up, mileage. But only the problem is the bike vibrates when speed reaches 50 kms/hr. If Honda resolves this problem it can beat all bikes in 125cc segment.
gladiator is a racing commuter and thats why low end torque is less, at high end, its performance is superb.. and for shine, its too costly, gladiator is better and cheaper
gladiator rocks
YES! YAMAHA

tvs flame 125
hi friends …..no doubt that yamaha gladiator is the champ in every field …it is sporty with killing power..
and it can beat any bike in 125cc segment…with 5gears gladiator rocks and its milage is appox 55-60 which is great for any 125cc bike
and 1 last thing that yamaha is not only the name it is feeling……..go for it
I think the best in 125 to 135 segment is Bajaj Discover 135 DTS-Si if you go for Speed its the highest milege also the best costs also near about Rs 56000. But if you go best engine quality or if you want a good resell value you should definitely select Shine or Glamour or to some extent Gladiator this bikes also ensure that you don’t have any discomfort in long term ride for eg: If you ride a Pulsar or Apache for a long time you are bound to go to a doctor complaing of a shoulder pain.Bikes from Yamaha or Hero hona or Honda guarantees that you don’t suffer those things.
I am going to buy a bike in 125 CC segment.I have short listed two bikes for myself, but i am really confused for which bike i should go for. I like Honda Shine and Hero Honda Glamour.Which is the best bike if we consider Performance and Mileage? Kindly suggest.
pattern is good but the datas given r not correct.
whenever u compare u should refer OEM catalouge.
kindly take care of.
I am still confused as to which Bike to Select Between Hero Honda Glamour, Honda Shine and Yamaha Gladiator SS. i Would Use the Bike for normal Conditions. If any body out there who could advice based on the following (Mileage, After sales Service, Maintenance) i would be glad.
XCD 135 IS THE BEST……….
Bajaj Rocks
Go for Gladiator SS, it is an alround performer. i too own one, it really rocks.engine is superb.
nice comparison.according to me HH GLAMOUR is the best.it has great pickup, comfortable, good road grip, good engine.so go for glamour.if you want performance go for gladiator.
Yahmaha - good pickup , poor mileage
bajaj - good mileage, poor longlife and resale value
Hero honda - good longlife and resale value, good mileage, ok pickup
honda - good power
mileage chart is also important

hi
i own a hero Honda glamor bike which 125 cc in starting days its power full and gives good millage
but now my is poor in pick up and millage its go for regularly service.
hello all,
i have been using bikes since last 13-14 yrs, started with bajaj endura sx, have used yamaha RXZ for 12 yrs and have used pulsar 150 for 5 yrs.
Now i want to purchase a new bike, in 125-135 segment as i have never used a 100 cc bike, in fact i feel whether i will enjoy 125 category or not, as i haved used 135 cc yamaha with 13.5 bhp, 2 storke and pulsar.. yamaha 2 stroke is undoubtedly can steal any show.. but i m not sure abt 4 storkes from yamha.. can anyone guide me, which one i should choose from Honda family, stunner and shine, or gladiator ss? reply with mileage of all bikes, many times i ride with family.
Hi friends if you are looking for bike in125cc segment go for Suzuki zeus as it was written above it is a all- rounder bike with a powerful engine and with great mileage . It`s looks are very cool andit looks like a samurai. I own a zeus and it gives a comfortable ride with great pick up. It has5 speed gear box. it doesn`t makes any sound when you are using 5Th gear at 20 km\ph. surendra andamit buy this bike only

Dear All;
I am planning to buy Yamaha SS125 bike. In Madurai it’s on road price is Rs.58200. Can any one tell correct on road price in Chennai.
go for yamaha gladiator.the main problem of hero honda is it uses old technology, watch HH glamour it,s engine is same as super spelendor ,see passion pro which is a modified spelendor.HH company cann,t bring new technology in market ,they can only change the name & model of the bike but engine remains unaltered.so my suggestion is go for gladiator it is a racing machine ,feels like a 150 cc bike.finally it is well known that yamaha is famous for its speed, engine and new technology.
Hi Nagaraj
The on road price of SS125 @ chennai is Rs.57250. I am also planning to buy this bike.
