Scooters in India are not powerhouses as is in European Markets, where engine capacity exceeds 1000cc. Few of the early scooters like Kinetic Honda which slowly eroded Bajaj’s market share had self start as killer feature. These days even 100cc bikes have self starters and its no more marketable features. Manufacturers these days are looking to sell their products with features like front fueling, cellphone charger, underseat storage, etc.

The above comparison chart clearly shows Honda, Hero Honda and Suzuki as manufacturer who concentrates on core product and no extra features. whereas, TVS, Bajaj and Kinetic wants to add features which differentiate itself from other products in the market with features like central lock/control system, anti theft system, mobile charging etc.
This comparison of technical details is very useful. thank you for the same. the only drawback is prices are not compared. i know prices change, but one gets a rough idea.Also comparison about maintenance such as cost of battery replacement, spares would have been an added advantage.

M considering buying a scootrette. Options shortlisted are Scooty Pep, Streak and Pleasure.
I personally prefer pleasure due to 100 CC engine. M not considering Activa coz i think the seat height is more and also its a bit bulky, consider it if its not so

It all depends on your budget, type of vehicle you want etc. If performance is what you want then suzuki access is what you might want to have in your parking space. If your budget is lower then scooty streak/pep might do the job for you. Honda and Hero Honda products are known for quality and service network.

Suzuki Access-125 (Scooter) is number one scooter at present in market, no body can’t beat Suzuki Access-125, It’s engine is so powerful and powerful, economic as per fuel consumption, good suspention and sexy by looking. After all good designed made by SUZUKI for the long time, at least HONDA will take 5 more years to make similar scooter only.

hi….i went through the comparision and have decided to go for her honda pleasure….i would also like to suggest the buyers to go for the same byke…coz when its compared with activa, the same features are provided at much lesser pice…the price of pleasure is 44,000(accessories included) and that of activa is 51,000. moreover activa is too bulky and its seat heigt is more which is not so comfortable…..suzuki access is also a good byke….buyers can also go for this byke rather than choosing activa…

Dont even think of any other vehicle when we have a gem like Suzuki Access 125 in the market. Its the best vehicle in every aspect. Its pickup is even better than some of the bikes like Pulsar, CBZ. Just ride it once and you will notice the difference.

Among all, I love the New Aviator (launched on 30OCT09), with latest Honda 110CC engine, great great great styling , new cluster and front chrome finish, great telescopic suspension, liquid filled air filter, 15% more fuel economy than it’s previous avatar…
amazing scooter, NO ONE BEATS THE RELIABILITY OF THIS SCOOTER…no maintainance at all……I will give it 102 out of 100

Hero Honda Pleasure is best performancewise, mileage, style and urban look and amongst all there is brand name attached of Hero Honda best performance from last 25 years and worlds largest two wheeler award winner from last eight years.

The analysis lack two vital information namely indicative prices and the fuel efficiency in terms of mileage. In my view and from the info gathered from users of these vehicles, Honda Activa is the best in terms of fuel efficiency, comfort, smoothness, performance and maintenance.

I did similar comparisons of all these schooters and test rides one year ago. Finally bought SUZUKI Access…its was little and was thinking about honda resale prices & HONDA brand. But after one year of using I feel proud of myself that I had made the best choice….
Suzuki Access rocks…due to powerful engine of 125cc….you leave lot of other bykes OR scooter behind in traffic…mileage is also too good…its between 45-50 km/ltr.
You know due to SUZUKI access, HONDA required to launch new Activa and new activa is nothing but change in styling and all but engine is still the same….
Never think twice between Activa and access…..its ACCESS….that rocks…!

Various scooters are available in the market viz. suzuki access, honda activa, aviator, TVS pep, mahindera duro and kinetic flyte etc, etc. Maintenance/spare parts of suzuki access and honda scooters (activa, aciator) is on the very higher side and are very bulky scooters. TVS pep has very low power. It hardly afford the load of two major persons. Mahindra duro is a new scooter and has yet to establish its quality in the market. Hero Honda Pleasure and Kinetic flyte are the best in respect of durability, mileage, features. Hero Honda Pleasure has a little edge over flyte because the sale of kinetic flyte is made through mahindra. It can not be ascertained if mahindra will continue make available the spares of flyte or prefer sale of its own scooters viz duro, rodeo. Hero Honda is known for its service, quality and availability of cheap spare part. No bike/scooters can match the quality provided by Hero Honda in India. I definitely recommend Hero Honda Pleasure as the best scooter. It has fuel average around 45-50 in city like Amritsar and 55-60 on G.T. Road.

I went through all the models , in between if you go for scoooters. Honda activa DLX and Suzuki access 125 are best. In between those two there are only 3 differences. like cost is same like 51 K for both on road. Mileage for suzuki is almost 55 for honda activa it is max 45k. Maninatinance wise suzuki is better. And finally suzuki is 125 cc so pick up is very good but for honda activa dls it is 108 cc but they will say 110cc. This is in AP. So try to compare your self for your need.

After reviewing all the opinions & feedback from the friend who is using Access, it seems that ACCESS IS THE BEST CHOISE, as it gives highest power with more fuel economy than Activa.

Vehicle guard looks hopeless on both. Waiting period of 3-4 months long is terrible and same for both.

The information provided here is really usefull instead of roaming on each company website, I tried Activa and Access both on the same road to check the handling and suspension, both the cases Access was good, one importanat thing is Access has telescopic shock absorbers in front that manages the bad roads well than activa. Initally I thought of going with activa because of its No1 position in market, but after test drive I planned for access.

Hi, I have been surveying since many days. Honda activa has a huge waiting time - 3 months in Chennai. also its very common on roads. but Suzuki access is best of the current lots as it gives the best power and mileage.. Also the waiting time for Access is very low as compared to Activa. If u need power and have to travel for long distances daily then go for access.. its 51000 on road inclusive of all accessories. Activa is 49000 without any accessories. If u want a lighter bike go for Activa and for girls who really need the lightest bike go for scooty pep. But overall Suzuki access is best and value for money since its stable, fast and better in mileage.

Well, that’s was a pretty helpful as key information was provided. As i could read, some were asking about which scooter one should go for. Someone gave a positive answer by telling that budget is the first point. Depending on one’s financial ability, one spends his money.
2nd: it is necessary to know how much the servicing will cost . No need for one to buy something one can’t fix in case of a minor or major mechanical fault.
3rd : how long to do one plans to have the bike on his disposal, is he going to sell it after a short while to get a better one?, what are the chances for the sale of the bike on the second-hand market and at which price. No one wants to make a bad deal in terms of vehicle purchase.
Then finally comes one’s personal taste and requirements. That could be speed or handling as well as vehicle height and strength or again heavy duty and family use. It’s quite difficult to associate speed with strength or handling, or anything else. So one will need to be reasonable in terms of expectations regarding his future bike.
This is as whole some informations one need to have in order to make the right choice in terms of bike purchase.
It is not practical to say that this is the best since the specifications are already given. From the moment one will consider the stated above conditions, associated with the earlier given bikes specifications, one will really know what is the bike for him.

Hero Honda Pleasure is a good bike but the after sales service is the worest in the country. No parts available in the market even for a front sheild which meets with any accident. Takes nearly five weeks for any part to be received, Till the time you buy thiis BIKE you are the KING and when you go their agent for any parts they are the KING, we are the beggers.

the best scooty is access no its the bestest no one can mess with it ultimate pickup ground clearance superb handling .all other are nothing in front of access.do test drive it.u will really feel the diffrence.do buy it please.i also have 2 with me.now in ultimate colours and graphics check out the new and cool access.all the best.

For mileage keep it between 30 to 45, it depends on your driving habits, too slow or too fast spoils the average, and of course keeping its speed restricted to low will adjust engine for it and by this your vehicle will not be able to perform well in high speed, so try all speed limits to make engine adjust to all conditions.
For speed just pull its ear, to test it just put the throttle at max when red light turns green and see who is ahead of you?
Brakes are very effective, stands straight does not turn.

I was personally lookin at buying an Activa.. But with a 6 month waiting period, it is hardly worth the wait..
So i started lookin for other options. So far ive come across the Suzuki Access, Mahindra Rodeo & Mahindra Duro.
In researching for the mahindra bikes ive come across the fact that the after sales service is not good and that the parts need frequent replacement.
This is the question i would like to ask for Access as well. How good is the after sales service ? Do you need to change parts frequently ? Are there enough service centre in Mumbai.

Before i purchased my ‘Suzuki Access-125′ , i dont know about this BLOG, just from one of my friends friend’s suggestion i plann’d to purchase access125. I found it good after taking the test drive at showroom , but was again thinking before taking this ….shall i go for this access or activa…at last i took this access125 on that day only.
Once iam back to home with new access125, all my family members was not happy with it, and they said -if u would have said before -we would have helpd you in getting Activa in 1 day so that u shoud not wait for 3 months , then again i got depressed that why i bought this access125.
But the twist is different.
Once iam back to office on monday, and got this BLOG and saw the access reviews are superb, then i took breath , ok i didn’t do any mistake by purchasing Access125.
Now i suggest to other ppl ……the great ACCESS 125 ……only.
its super vehicle…..really….day by day i have seen and observed the goodies in Access than activa.
Already we have activa in home but very old model and new one was very hit in market.
Suzuki Access is Awsome than Activa.
Activa is nothing Before Access. ….its just my observation.
For ladies also its very good, my sis and wife and my friends also says Access is excellent.

Good looks, great pickup, good mileage.
Will not get hit when u cross some bad speed breaker or any bad roads like activa. Access 125 is hight.
