I20 has raised the bar significantly and has been positioned against the Fabia rather than the Maruthi Swift. i20 is longer and wider than the Getz and has best in class width and losing out only to the Fabia in length. The good part of this is thta it combines thios length with a best in class wheelbase as well as best in class front and rear tracks.
The Engine is Kappa. It is a new generation highly efficient and powerful engine that makes the i10 a scorcher. With a diferent set of gear ratios, the i20 is a zippy in the city but loses out on top end performance on highways.
The looks of i20 are an assest and a very likeable design. i20 is the first hatchback in the country to have 6 airbags. It has a two tone interiors & dark brown seats which look rich and very comfortable. The car has a climate control system with vents for the rear passengers under the front seats and cooled glove box.
The eclectrically assisted steering feels great around the centre and is wrapped in a leather and has controls for the in build 6 speaker musci system. The display for seat warning steals the show.
The steering wheel is linked to tilting and telescopic actions that help different drivers to find their favourite seating positions. Audio remote controls on the steering are at finger tips, is easy to use and ensure comfortable music listening while driving.
