Yahoo trying to join hands with Google to avoid merger with Microsoft

Yahoo is said to be trying to join hands with google by showing google ads in yahoo search result pages. It is also said that AOL and Yahoo are joining to form a new company.

Meanwhile, Newscorp is talking with Microsoft about a possible combined bid for Yahoo.
