Seagate ships 1 billion HDD’s

Seagate is first to ship 1 billion hard disk drives. The total capacity of the harddrives is like 79 million terabytes which is equivalent of 158 billion hours of video, 1.2 trillion hours of music.

Their first hard disk shipped in 1979. Its capacity was 5 MB and it costed $1500. long live seagate
