AMD’s upcoming notebook processors

AMD has plans to unveil four new processor for notebooks. These new processors will be based on “Griffin” based chips which is codename for “Puma” notebook platform.

Four processors are

  1. AMD Turion Ultra - DDR2 800MHz, 2MB L2 cache, 2GHz - 2.4GHz , 32-34 watts
  2. AMD Turion - DDR2 800MHz, 1MB L2 cache, 2GHz - 2.4GHz, 32-34 watts
  3. AMD Athlon single core - DDR2 667MHz, 1MB l2 cache, 1.9GHz, 31 watt
  4. AMD Sempron single core - 512KB L2 cache, 2GHz, 25 watt
