AMD Spider Platform Tested – Age of hybrids begins

AMD has unvieled AMD Spider with Hybrid Graphics. Hybrid graphics is a innovative idea where your system has a onboard graphics as part of your chipset but you can add a low end dedicated graphics card to the mix and enable ATI Crossfire to get a 60-100% performance gain. Here both dedicated graphic card and onboard graphics card work in unison to provide you a performance boost. current scenario is that you either use dedicated graphics card or onboard graphics.

Test results are interesting with performance boost in the range of 10-70%. look here and here for results
