12 Core processor from AMD
Apr 19th, 2008 | By Premnath Sah | Category: TechnologyAMD is plans about 6 core processor and 12 core processors are out. AMD is releasing 6 core and 12 core processor on 45nm fabricated chips. These 6 core and 12 core processors will put AMD on par with Intel’s plan for similar processor.
These plans makes one thing very clear. Race of processor speed has more or less stopped and race for number of cores started. Its not clear how current applications will gain from these multicore advancement.
