Internet Explorer 8.0 Beta 2 released

Microsoft has released second beta of Internet Explorer 8.0. We shall find out what it has offer and post a article soon.

Microsoft in their IE blog says

"While Beta 1 was for developers, we think that anyone who browses or works on the web will enjoy IE8 Beta 2. Before the team blogs about our Beta 2 in detail, here’s an overview of what you’ll find in IE8."

Following features have been added

  • ReOpen closed tabs (this is present in every other browser in market)
  • InPrivate Browsing (this controversial feature has been added)
  • Accelerator (it was already present in beta 1 as activities)
  • Tab grouping using Colours
  • Smart Address bar (does this sound familiar? from land of Mozila)
  • Performance boost (lets find it and let you know)
  • More security features
  • More web standards complaint
