Convert Microsoft Office 2007 format files to 2003 compatible files using Free tool provided by Microsoft

Have you ever got a file with extension .docx, xlsx etc and where not able too open these files. These are default file format used by Microsoft Office 2007. Microsoft is now providing a tool to convert the new format files to old Office XP/2003 format so that anyone can convert and open these files.

If you use Linux then you are not out of luck. There is a tool available for Linux to do the job. Its called openoffice.org openxml translator. It is actually a plugin for openoffice which lets openoffice to open and save in Office 2007 format.
