Vodafone joins Airtel in offering iPhone 3G in India on 22nd August. Vodafone reveal the price of iPhone in India. At Rs. 31,000 for 8GB model and Rs. 36,100 for 16 GB model, It will definitely tear apart your wallet or even your bank balance.

At a time when you get low cost Laptops starting from 18k in India, is it worth 31k for this gadget from Apple? it definitely does not sounds right.

Only time will tell whether iPhone can put any pressure on other handset manufacturers and we strongly feel many will not opt for one except for very few who have been craving to get one.
