Tata Nano all set to be launched on 23rd March 2009

Tata is all set to launch the “The People’s Car” Nano on 23rd of March, birthday of Tata group’s founder Jamsetji Tata. Initially, the cars will be provided to celebrities and select customers.

As we know Nano is being manufactured at interim production lines and full fledged production can start only after completion of manufacturing facility in Sanand, near Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

As reported earlier, Tata has SBI as its exclusive booking agent. It is also reported that Ratan Tataji has instructed to take Nano to all major pilgrimage before the launch. This solves two purpose of getting the divine blessing and proving the world about road worthiness of Nano.

Booking likely to start soon and the booking amount will be Rs 70,000.
