Chevrolet Spark
Styling: Chevy’s Spark is a cute looking car from front, back and sides even though it’s body shaping still has the cues of its older brother Daewoo Matiz.
Performance: Spark has good performance even though having the smallest displacement in the segment. It will definitely be a good city car.
Positives: Looks, Good ride quality, Good mileage, Cheapest of the lot with current offer (2.66 Lakhs)
Negative: though hatch backs are not known for boot space, this one has the smallest boot of the lot.
Maruti Wagon R
Styling: This is the car in the market with oldest design
Performance: Decent performance, but not the best of the class
Positives: There is a model with factory fitted LPG kit (Allows you to dodge hole in pocket situations
Negative: Old design
Maruti Zen Estillo
Styling: Believe it or not, This car was retired from Japan market and was sold under Wagon R badge.
Performance: Decent performance
Positives: Maruti service, decent performance
Negatives: Looks is not that cool
Hyundai Santro Xing
Styling: Santro is a good looking car when compared to its predecessors
Performance: Good performance, This car was King of the road in its class till its younger sibling i10 was born.
Positives: Performance, refined engine
Negatives: Choppy rear ride
Hyundai i10
Styling: This car has been designed with European market in mind and Styling reflects it. It is a good looking car
Performance: This car has a very capable powerhouse inside its hood. It manages to easily snatch the powerful car of the lot title from its older sibling. Newer powerhouse named Kappa with 80 horses will be a pleasure to drive.
Positives: Performance, refinement, interiors
Negatives: Price, reduced mileage.
